Keeping Children Safe in Education Part 1 must be read by all staff - but is it understood by everyone? Where schools have EAL colleagues, e.g. as part of the kitchen or cleaning teams, they may struggle with official documentation and that is why we commissioned translations into 13 community languages to make sure that safeguarding processes are truly understood by all.
