Broadband and Beyond

Dear Colleague,

Welcome to your latest edition of the IncludED Newsletter.

IncludED newsletter-1

Please note this will be our final specific IncludED newsletter.

We are aware that schools and teachers are increasingly busy places and workload currently is an issue for all. We felt that rather than having a separate IncludED and EnergisED curriculum newsletter, where many of you may sign up for both, we are moving towards a joint newsletter placing all our key messages and updates in one place.

We hope this move demonstrates our commitment to removing the barriers to learning for all and consideration of your valuable workload.

If you currently only subscribe to this IncludED newsletter then please subscribe to the "LGfL Newsletter"

Also, a reminder that we will be at BETT on the 24th to the 26th of January.

Please come and visit us on stand SK30 where we would love to chat with you about how any of the LGfL team and services can support you and your school community.

Do you follow us on X? We have reached a milestone of 1000 followers for @LGfLIncludED and 6,800 for @LGfL - are you one of them? It's the most immediate way of keeping up to date with our latest activities and support offers!

LGfL has invested over £500,000 over the Christmas Break to deliver more internet capacity to schools to support increased use of the Cloud, more consumption of video streaming services, and harnessing more devices in the classroom.

Thousands of schools will benefit this year from free bandwidth boosts as LGfL moves proactively to future-proof connections and ensures LGfL schools enjoy the fastest possible connectivity.

Safeguarding investments are planned this term with LGfL seeking to procure a monitoring solution to its portfolio of products provided to schools from April 2024.

If you are a DSL working with SEND pupils in your school you will be interested in attending the next SEND DSL forum which is on Tuesday 16th of January at 3.45. We will be discussing online safety.
