We are pleased to once again be working with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC, part of GCHQ) to take a snapshot of the state of cybersecurity in all UK schools in our cybersecurity schools audit.
The survey is live now at securityaudit.lgfl.net (English and Welsh versions) and is open until the end of May. We only need one response from each school, so please ask the headteacher to nominate someone to complete the form or make sure colleagues are aware of who has completed it. Make sure that schools like yours are fully represented by taking part!
The previous audit in 2019 led to the creation of a wealth of cybersecurity resources specifically for schools and is still being referenced in the NCSC's Cyber security training for school staff.

It is highly likely that some LGfL schools have Ukrainian refugees displaced by the horrific ongoing war on role now. Therefore we are sharing the National Databank initiative; powered by Good Things Foundation, who have committed to providing free mobile data to Ukrainian refugees arriving in the UK, alongside those from other conflict zones, to enable them to easily get online and stay in contact with friends and family. Further details on how to apply can be found here:National Databank - Good Things Foundation.

The theme for this Virtual TeachMeet is maths and is an invitation to talk about anything you’ve seen/experienced that works well (or perhaps doesn’t). It will be a chance to share with colleagues a range of different ideas and take something new back to your own classroom.
When? Thursday 23rd June 2022, 15:45 – 17:00 (Please note this may yet be moved to the previous week, we are waiting confirmation!)
Online training events are free for all school staff to attend (*with the exception of the Designated Safeguarding Lead Training which we offer to LGfL customers only). Please click the button below to see the extensive training programme available; with new and different IncludEd sessions to pick from. (You should have also recently received a full listing of all the training sessions for April and May).
