Dear Colleague,

We are delighted to tell you about 2 new CPD sessions for DSLs that are available to book NOW, for FREE, via our training portal!

new to role

We have created a brand new 1 day course for those who are about to take on the role of DSL, or those who have just started. This course will give you time to explore the basic responsibilities, skills and knowledge of a DSL, and we will provide ample time for questions and discussion to ensure all delegates leave the training feeling more confident in their new role!

The first course will be delivered on Wednesday 19th June virtually, and places are strictly limited.

From September, we shall schedule more sessions, including some face-to-face.

in the context of KCSIE

    • How do you safeguard global majority children in your school, and why do you need to?
    • What does this look like in terms of a whole school approach?
    • What do you know about racial experiences in your school?
    • How do you develop cultural competency?

This introductory FREE one hour webinar on Wednesday 18th September at 10am, is being facilitated by the fabulous Nic Bailey. Nic will help us explore how racial equity is a key component of schools' safeguarding responsibilities and the links to key statutory guidance.
