Welcome back from half-term! We would like to share some new safeguarding posters, resources and top tips to support your whole-school approach to keeping children safe: 

• NEW poster to encourage disclosures
• 'Meet the safeguarding team' editable poster 
• New CyberSprinters KS2 security game
• Appropriate Filtering - what a DSL needs for compliance

Have your pupils/students stayed safe over half-term? Is there anything they need to disclose? Or issues that may affect their mental health or learning at school? Why not take the opportunity to find out how safe and happy they are and were at school and at home? HIgh-res print or online version available.

We've also created a new poster for staff to facilitate your referral process. Visit safeposters.lgfl.net for an **editable** template for schools to introduce their safeguarding teams. FREE to all, just add your school name, logo, photos, reporting system and names/titles. 

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) have just launched CyberSprinters - a new educational game for teaching children aged 7 to 11 to stay secure online. The game forms as part of a pack of educational resources illustrating what good cybersecurity practice looks like, from creating strong passwords to being vigilant about messages from unknown senders.

Keeping Children Safe in Education says that schools must have 'appropriate filtering' - but how do you know? We are fully compliant with The Safer Internet Centre - read our submission here and keep to hand for when Ofsted calls!  Why not join us for our new free 20 minute filtering twilights to ensure you're confident to be involved in key filtering decisions - suitable for DSLs and SLT.
