Dear Colleague, 

We will send you a back-to-school newsletter next week with lots of resources to support safeguarding as the new school year begins, but here is one item we wanted to share in advance of that - our NEW DSL FORUM.

Often when staff are first appointed to the role of DSL it can be a little overwhelming so we wanted to offer a little more support.

• Maximum 15 attendees (sorry, only LGfL schools)
• Does not replace the full DSL training,
• Series of four 1.5-hour interactive group sessions over the term
• Develop confidence and ask questions in a relaxed environment
• Hosted by an experienced safeguarding lead and trainer  

If you have a new DSL in your school, why not ask if they would like to take part?

Please note we require a commitment to attending all four sessions so will be asking the new DSL to secure the backing of their headteacher to attend.
