Dear Colleague

LGfL training sessions provided at no extra charge for schools are a great way of engaging with the Inspire Curriculum Team at LGfL and our partners. Click the button below to visit the portal or continue to read on for the titles of each session scheduled for autumn 1.

A reminder that all the sessions are live (not pre-recorded) which means delegates are able to ask questions and get answers throughout the sessions.

Autumn 1 Training

The Big Staff Meeting 

Every Monday (in term time) between 15:45-16:45

(6/9, 13/9, 20/9, 27/9, 4/10, 11/10, 18/10).

This one-our online session is designed to fit into a staff meeting. It will include training on our most used and versatile curriculum resources and demonstrate how they can be used to support your pupils both in school and at home.

Join the BusyThings team for Beginners and Advanced Overviews to make the most of your BusyThings access with LGfL. The sessions last between 30 and 45 minutes.

Join the just2easy team for their Quick Bites webinars, every Monday 15:45-16:00.

The first session "Desktop Publishing Made Easy - with J2e5" is on Monday 13th September.

LGfL Tech Squad Sessions

Training is repeated during the school holidays throughout the school year for the Tech Squad (Digital Transformation Partners & onsite technicians) audience. Sessions include: Webscreen Overview; Cisco Meraki and Microsoft 365 Workshop amongst others.

Microsoft - TikTok Sessions

Tablet Academy is running top tips sessions on TikTok Live. These sessions are at 14:00-15:00 on 24th September, 15th October and 29th October.

The TikTok events are not specifically aimed at teachers but you may find the content useful. There is no registration required for social media live events. All TikTok Live events are free to join. However, there are a couple of prerequisites required to watch live videos including having a TikTok account a.nd using TikTok on a mobile device. To watch the live videos on TikTok, first, navigate to their profile “@TATechTips”. Their profile picture will be shown along with a “LIVE” tab. To watch their live stream, simply tap on their profile picture. You will have to view the live event on your mobile device as live events are not shown on desktops.
