We have recently been updating some of our internally produced resources with updated content highlighting the use of our premium resources and the inclusion of subtitling and transcript downloads for all video content.

Four of these resources are as follows:

With the Queen's Platinum Jubilee upcoming we are currently working on developing our 'Royal Collection Trust' (and Image Bank) to further support schools undertaking project work for this historic event. Watch this space for news on this project.

ReadingZone Live BookClub Events

Immersive Learning Pilot

If you want to know more about the pilot before committing, then watch the "Teacher Support Sessions" featuring the latest developments and examples of the SandboxAR Platform in action.

We will also be taking to the main stage at the Bett Show to present on progress with the pilot so far. Visit the Mian Stage at Bett at 1:30pm on Friday 25th March to listen to Bob Usher (Content Manager at LGfL), Simon Pile (Deputy Head Teacher at Anson Primary, Brent, Apple Distinguished Educator and IntoFilm Ambassador) and Phil Birchinall (Senior Director of Immersive Content at Discovery Education).

Cybersecurity Provisions

Schools have been the subject of ransomware attacks across the UK in the past year. Given recent reports of nation-state cyberattacks and what is happening in the news at the moment, it is important not to think a school is too small to be affected, whether by a targeted attack or from malware affecting all systems. Now is a good time to check your cybersecurity provisions. Diverse EdTech Educators

Google for Education is committed to ensuring all educators are supported with the use of Google for Education tools and so they are working hard to drive the continuous development of diverse, equitable and inclusive communities.

They are looking for talented Black and Asian educators across the UK and Ireland, who are keen to develop their Google Workspace skills and work towards becoming a Google for Education Certified Trainer.

With their FREE Diverse EdTech Educators mentoring scheme you will gain expertise to have an even greater impact in your school, community and career.

The mentoring program lasts for six months and includes 20 hours of guided professional development. You will focus on the knowledge and skills required for Google Educator Certifications for 12 hours and will receive 6 hours of mentoring from existing Google Trainers. This great opportunity is completely free, you just need an appetite for learning and a spare hour for one evening, every other week.
