Following feedback from schools and partners, we have applied a change that will allow a Nominated Contact to reset the password, reset security questions and register a new OTP token for another Nominated Contact that is linked to your establishment on the LGfL Support Site. (Previously, this function could only be performed by operatives of the LGfL Service Desk).
YES - you can now reset your school's USO passwords and OTP tags for your Nominated Contacts without having to ring the Service Desk!
You will now be able to manage a Nominated Contact or Head Teacher account in the same way as you would for a staff USO account. However, we would still encourage you, and staff at your school, to reset your USO account password yourself by either validating your mobile number, answering security questions or via a link sent to a secondary email address. Security is of the utmost importance to LGfL and to provide with you some assurance of the safety of this change, all password resets are fully auditable which will allow you to view which account has reset a password and when it occurred. Additionally, when a password is reset, you will be prompted to change your password upon your next login.
