LGfL Launches Our NEW Bereavement Toolkit
'Having Honest Conversations About Death and Grief' is a free-to access training tool that has been developed to give staff in schools the confidence to talk openly and honestly about death and grief with students to support their long-term wellbeing and management of grief throughout their lives. It complements pre-existing resources on this topic which can also be viewed by clicking the button below and choosing 'Supporting a Bereaved Pupil' or 'Managing a Sudden Death in the School Community'.
Schools can now sign in to Busy Things using Google accounts! If your school uses Google logins, save time by using them to access your LGfL Busy Things account.
Teachers and pupils can easily set themselves up when they sign in, or you can quickly import entire classes from Google Classroom.
For further details please download their How-to Guideorvisit the BusyThings "Help" section (tab at the top of your screen when you login in teacher mode).
Please note - the BusyThings Team are also working on integration with Microsoft, we will of course keep you updated.

Going Too Far? - New Extremism Resource
Our new extremism resource 'Going Too Far?' has been developed in collaboration with the Department for Education and was launched on 20th September. This interactive classroom resource aims to help secondary school pupils understand online extremism and how certain online behaviour may be illegal or dangerous – it is also suitable for transition with elements easily adaptable for primaries and has a dedicated area with resources to support SEND and Inclusion.
Do you want to try the latest innovative immersive technology in your school? LGfL is the only partner in the world to be working on a pilot with Discovery Education on a platform that turns an iPad into a 'magic window' where users can view and interact with a 3D world. This is your final opportunity to get involved with LGfL's Immersive Technology Pilot with Discovery. (N.B You must have iPad’s that are 2017 or newer to access the new platform).
