Dear Colleague ,

We are pleased to once again be working with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC, part of GCHQ) to take a snapshot of the state of cybersecurity in all UK schools in our cybersecurity schools audit.

The survey is live now at securityaudit.lgfl.net (English and Welsh versions) and is open until the end of May. It will only take a few minutes to complete but will help to inform shape and improve the UK’s response to cyber security support in education. Make sure that schools like yours are fully represented by taking part!

We only need one response from each school, so please ask the headteacher to nominate someone to complete the form or make sure colleagues are aware of who has completed it.

The more schools that complete the survey the better picture we get of the state of cybersecurity, so please share this with as many of your peers as possible.

The previous audit in 2019 led to the creation of a wealth of cybersecurity resources specifically for schools and is still being referenced in the NCSC's Cyber security training for school staff.
